In the backdrop of this Memorandum of understanding (MOU), JKAP-9th BN organized “Awareness Seminar cum workshop” at Auditorium APC Zewan today on 22-11-2017.
Shri S.A.Mujtaba, IPS (IGP Armed/ IR(Kashmir-Zone) inaugurated this awareness seminar cum workshop which was attended by more than 200 police personnel of JKAP 9th BN & JKAP-12th BN,
Shri Shailender Singh, SSP (Commandant JKAP-9th BN) welcomed the participants and highlighted the objective of this workshop vis-a-vis dynamic and visionary leadership of Shri S.P.Vaid, IPS (DGP J&K) whose endeavors and efforts have resulted the signing of “memorandum of understanding” between J&K Police and J&K Bank by virtue of which “most favored client status” has been conferred on J&K Police.
Shri S.A.Mujtaba, IPS (IGP Armed/ IR(Kashmir-Zone) while delivering the inaugural address appreciated the initiative and complimented the Commandant and other officers of JKAP-9th BN for organizing such a beneficial workshop.
During the workshop Shri S.S Sehgal, Executive President J&K Bank/ other Zonal Heads other senior officers of J&K Bank through live demonstration highlighted various schemes/ facilities launched by the J&K Bank for J&K Police personnel i,e Phone pe loan scheme while using mPay application of J&K Bank, Cash credit facility, Saholiat/ Saral finance, credit card facilities and various insurance schemes meant for the J&K Police personnel.
There was an overwhelming and positive response from all the participants, who appreciated the efforts of Commandant JKAP-9th BN and thanked him for his novel initiative.
